Question 1

How many people can I include?

Accepted Answer

From 1 to 10 family members. Your child and the first few characters are included in the base price, and you can add more.

Question 2

How much does it cost to add more characters?

Accepted Answer

Your child and the first few people are included in the base price. You can add more for a small fee per person, always shown on this book's page and again at checkout before you pay.

Question 3

What ages is this book for?

Accepted Answer

Designed for ages 4-12. Younger children enjoy it with parents reading along, while older kids can read and search independently.

Question 4

What kind of photos work best?

Accepted Answer

Clear, front-facing photos with good lighting work best. Skip sunglasses, hats that cover the face, heavy shadows, and extreme angles. Our system flags any photo that may not work and suggests a retake.

Question 5

Do you need photos of everyone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, one clear photo per person is enough. We transform each person into our illustration style while keeping the features that make them recognizable.

Question 6

Will it really look like my child?

Accepted Answer

Some titles include a preview step before printing. Where offered, you can request revisions before approving. The Make It Right reprint guarantee has title-specific terms and exclusions. See our refund page for the full policy.

Question 7

What if I'm not happy with the illustrations?

Accepted Answer

If your printed book does not look like the people in your photos, contact support@youversebooks.com with your order details and photos. The Make It Right reprint guarantee has title-specific terms and exclusions. See our refund page for the full policy.

Question 8

How long does the whole process take?

Accepted Answer

From your end, the initial setup takes about 10 minutes: uploading photos and customizing characters. Our AI then generates the illustrations within a few hours (occasionally up to a day). Then we print, bind, and ship your book to your door. Printing and shipping are separate steps: in the US, standard delivery is about 8 to 11 business days (roughly 4 to 5 business days printing plus 4 to 6 business days shipping), and other countries can take longer. So the full time to your doorstep is typically one and a half to two and a half weeks, not minutes. On titles with a preview step, you'll get an email when the characters are ready to review and the printing clock starts when you approve. Shipping options and estimates are shown at checkout.

Question 9

Can I send this as a gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enter the recipient's address at checkout and we ship the book straight to them. The price is never printed on anything in the package.
